All items indicated in this document should be cross referenced with the site specific project specification to confirm the submittal requirement. 670 Submittal Intrusion Detection Systems Warranties Manufacturer shall provide a 3 year material warranty. Installer shall provide a 3 year labor warranty. Provide 3 complete bound sets..05.a. Manual shall include a page with Project site and Project name, date of Substantial Completion, Contractor name, address, telephone, and fax numbers.. One page with a list describing all furnished materials by make and number. Maintenance 3. Site and zone codes with areas served, materials, brochures, wiring and connection diagrams of equipment, plot plan of Project site indicating conduit and cable runs between termination points, and cable identification. 4. Manufacturer maintenance brochures. 3 Zone Map 4 Installation Worksheets Prior to start of system Testing, provide and submit to the Architect, a computer generated Project site map denoting all zones and their respective panels. Plot and building plans shall indicate location of equipment, conduit, and cable runs zone maps. Zone maps shall be provided in the most current version of AutoCAD with 3 CD-ROM copies submitted, formatted for use on a Windows platform. Prior to start of system Testing, complete and submit to the Architect the six program sheets referred to as DSC Installation Worksheet at the end of this section. Furnish the following new spare 3.07-B 3.07-C parts to the Owner in unopened boxes: 5 Spare Materials. 0% spare infrared motion detectors of each type.. One spare controller and expansion module of each type. 3. One spare relay output module. 4. One spare LCD450 keypad. 5. 3 673 Submittal Telephone Systems A. Provide a year material, equipment installation, and labor warranty for telephone systems. Sub Section Warranties B. Provide a 5 year material warranty for the battery cells.. Deliver to the OAR one complete set of servicing manuals. Manual shall be bound in flexible binder(s) and data shall be typewritten or computer printed..05-a,.05-b Service. shall include complete -wire circuit diagrams of system, a wiring destination schedule for circuits leaving console and racks, a schematic diagram of amplifiers and other components. shall also include as-built coding provided on cables. Entire system shall be provided with as-built engineering documentation including the following: 3.08-B. Site plan, individual building floor plans with point-to- point connections and indicating telecommunication cabinets/racks, instruments, conduit runs, wire type, terminal cabinet, fill and rough-in requirements. 3 4 As-Built Record. Riser diagrams indicating devices, cabinets/racks, and point-to-point connections in a manner following floor plan layout.. 4 for Shop. Plot and building plans shall indicate locations of equipment, conduit, cable runs, and other pertinent information. B. Perform a final test of cable runs between wall faceplates and distribution panels. Grid and backbones shall be tested. Tests shall be provided as outlined bytia/eia-568-a-5 Category 5e performance specifications. 5 Test and Acceptance C. Before Substantial Completion, submit test results and related documents to the IOR. A. Install telecommunications in the main technology LAN room and keys and locks for cabinets/racks and equipment. Locks shall be keyed to Corbin No. 60 key for access to operate equipment and to a Corbin No. 70 key for access to service equipment. Telecommunications equipment cabinets/racks shall be keyed as provided by manufacturer B, 3.03-C 6 Locks & Keys.05-A 675 Submittal Closed Circuit TV and Audio Surveillance Systems Service Record. Submit 3 copies of complete operating and service manuals containing software, programming information, passwords, schematic drawings and service manuals for all active and passive equipment installed A3, 3.03-A4. Provide one set mylar transparencies of plot and building plans and one set in the same electronic format for Shop. Plot and building plans shall indicate location of equipment, conduit, cable runs and other pertinent information. Measurements and 3.03-A Page 4 of 0

5 readings taken during systems checkout shall be recorded and included. 3 Test and Acceptance. Submit to the Architect one copy of the test results per system installed. Test results shall be presented in a printed or typed format in soft cover binders A 6750 Submittal Intercommunication System (Work this with Section 68) Warranties. Manufacturer shall provide a 3 year material warranty. Installer shall provide a 3 year labor warranty..06-a 6806 Submittal Computer Networking Systems A. Provide a year material and labor warranty. Warranties B. Provide a 5 year system performance warranty for the installed data cabling system, components of the optical data backbone cable system, cables, connectors, and transmission speeds of Gbit/sec (000 Base X) commencing upon the date of Substantial Completion..07-A,B As-Built As-Built indicating equipment locations, wiring types, panel configurations, sizes, and a point-to-point-wiring diagram of all circuits. shall indicate interfaces to equipment furnished by others, identifying numbers of wires, 3.05-A Page 5 of 0

6 termination requirements, and other pertinent details. shall be presented in both hard copy and electronic form (.DWG format prepared using the most recent version of AutoCAD on a labeled CD-ROM prepared for use on a Windows platform. Provide one hard copy and one electronic copy. Size A (8-/ inches x inches) and size B ( inches x 7 inches) shall be bound into the manual. Larger drawings shall be folded and inserted into transparent envelopes bound into the manual. Cable management program on CD-ROM that will operate on a Windows 98/NT/000 platform to be submitted to the District and shall include: a. Cable schedule. b. Cable test forms Cable management Software Grounding Certification Test and Acceptance 6 Locks & Keys c. Cable labels. d. Networking planning charts. Bond together cable grounds to distribution rack, and bond rack to building electrical panel ground for grounding continuity. Continuity shall be checked with an ohmmeter between adjacent components. Submit written certification to the Owner that the tested ohmmeter readings do not exceed one ohm. racks shall be grounded to building ground in accordance with EIA/TIA 607. Test Results: Submit test results to the District. Provide keys and locks for cabinets and equipment with locks keyed to a Corbin No. 60 key for access to operate equipment and Corbin No. 80 key for access to service equipment A3 3.0-B7b 3.05-A 3.0-B7c Page 6 of 0

Each complete manual shall be bound in a flexible binder and all data shall be typewritten or drafted. Service. Each manual shall include all instructions necessary for proper operation and servicing of system and shall include complete wire circuit diagrams of system, a wiring destination schedule for each circuit leaving console and each rack, a schematic diagram of each amplifier and other components, transistor complements and replacement part numbers. Each manual shall also include asbuilt cable site plot plan and floor plans indicating all cables, both underground and in each building with conduit, and as-built coding used on each cable. Programming forms of each system shall be submitted with complete information. A. Furnish and deliver to the OAR, one auxiliary console microphone with coiled cord and press-to-talk switch B, B. Furnish and deliver to the OAR, 4 tamperproof screwdrivers. 3 Portable As-Built C. All portable equipment shall remain in individual boxes and be delivered to the OAR.. Provide 3 copies of operating and servicing manual. Complete manuals shall be bound in a flexible binder and data shall be typewritten or drafted. 9 Portable A. Furnish 4 low-impedance, dynamic cardioid microphones with floor stands. Microphone shall be a Shure Type 545, or equal, with on/off switch and microphone holders. Microphones will be furnished with 5-foot Shure microphone cables. The floor stands shall be Atlas MS-0, or equal. B. Furnish one, 00-foot, one-piece microphone extension cable. Provide cables, 0 gage, shielded, Belden No. 84, or equal, terminated with Cannon No. XLR-3-C and No. XLR-3-C plugs. C. Provide 8 Switchcraft No. 0QD0N0, - foot long, /4 inch tip, ring and sleeve patch cords. D.
