The Construction Documents Issued for Bid dated January 14, 2013 for the above referenced project is modified as noted in this Addendum. 2. All work performed under this document shall be subject to the General Conditions of the Contract and Specifications for similar work in connection with this project. B. CLARIFICATIONS 1. Provide and install five (5) 1 hr. rated, 18 x 18 ceiling access doors with downward opening. Color white, to be installed in gyp. bd. Locations identified by and coordinated with electrical and mechanical trades. Provide unit price in Section Schedule of Unit Prices, Item A for additional units to be installed. Enter a unit price for each quantity for supply and installation above the P:\12\0614\0180\PackageB-Ph2\04add\Addm 2 - Phase 2_ \Addendum No 2.doc Page 1 of 4

2 five units that are to be included in the base bid. List in Schedule of Unit Prices Item A and title cost Provide and install 18 x 18 ceiling access door (each). ADD $ 2. Flooring to be removed for re-construction (Demolition Schedule Note 31) requires shoring for re-installation. Detail 2/A1.2 will also require shoring for the removal of the masonry wall near the existing stairway (Demolition Schedule Note 1) 3. Sheet A6.1 Aluminum Window Frame Types, window Film 1 will be by owner. 4. Sheet A6.1 Door/Window Schedule Remarks. All doors to receive door stops to match hardware. 5. See Sheet S3.0 for lintel location and type. C. CHANGES TO SPECIFICATIONS NA D. CHANGES TO DRAWINGS ARCHITECTURAL: 1. Refer to Drawings A1.0, A1.2 and A0.0: a. Remove existing concrete slab and walk as shown. b. Remove existing door between Mechanical Room and stair, frame to remain. 2. Refer to Drawings A1.1 and A0.0: a. Remove section of existing floor joists. See S2.0 for new framing. b. Remove existing door and frame to janitor closet. 3. Refer to Drawing A1.5: a. Remove existing gypsum board ceilings in existing toilet rooms off main floor hallway. b. The type of existing ceiling demolition was corrected for vestibules, elevator lift and lounge area. c. Revised Ceiling Demolition Schedule. d. Revised notation for existing wood trim on bulkhead to remain in existing dining room. 4. Added New Drawings: a. 3 b. Sheet A1.7 (Upper Level-Floor Finishes Demolition Plan) for extents of finish flooring removal. 5. Refer to Drawings A2.0, A2.2 and A0.0: a. New concrete slab and walk. (See S1.0 for details.) b. Section number for ramp was revised to 3/S Refer to Drawing A2.1, A2.3 and A6.1: a. Closet was added to room 112. b. Door 112 was changed to 112A and closet doors 112B (pair) were added. 7. Refer to Drawing A3.1: a. Ceilings in vestibules changed to 5/8 type X gypsum board on resilient channels. (Refer to A5.0) b. Existing gypsum board ceilings in rooms 108 and 109 are to be replaced with suspended acoustical ceilings. c. (Women s Toilet Room Lounge 108 ceiling to remain as is.) 8. Refer to Drawing A5.0: a. Clarification to patching the skylight demolition area and texture of new gypsum board finish. b. Clarification of areas to receive 1 hour rated shaftwall or 5/8 type X gypsum board on resilient channel. 9. Refer to Drawing A6.0: a. Designation added for areas to receive 1 hour rated shaftwall and 5/8 type X gypsum board on resilient channel. b. Existing gypsum board ceilings in rooms 108 and 109 are to be replaced with suspended acoustical ceilings. 10. Refer to Drawing A6.1: a. Doors 106 and111f (existing Elevator doors) and frames are to be removed and replaced by Wheelchair Lift contractor. Door 002 to be supplied and installed by Wheelchair Lift contractor. All elevator doors and frames to be flush mounted as required by Michigan Barrier Free. All doors to receive automatic opening by Wheelchair Lift contractor. All doors rated 45 min. b. Door 153 will be removed and replaced to match original. See revised sheet A6.1. c. Door 035 revised. See revised sheet A6.1. d. Door 112 was changed to 112A. e. Doors (pair) 112B were added. f.
