Book of the Seven Seas By Danwood I am Danish, and I grew up reading Peter Freuchen's books and tales about the man. Anyone who has read his books knows that he had a rather lose understanding of what truth means, in other words, he was not free from embellish facts a bit, and that was one of his qualities that has endeared him to so many over the years. That been said, the man had a wealth of knowledge and I would guess most people would learn something from this book. It is easy reading because he did not attempt, or did not possess the skills, to make this book into more than a light factual work about wind, weather, currents, famous sailors and navigators, ships and a lot more.
