GETC s Commercial division was awarded the contract to supply The Art Series Watson Hotel Serviced Office area and a large range of hotel and apartment FF&E in Walkerville, Adelaide, South Australia. After working closely with the in house design & interiors team at Asian Pacific, GETC Commercial was awarded a range of project works throughout the site. Works included the entire Serviced Office area and a range of hotel and apartment FF&E. 5 HOTEL The Serviced Apartment component of the project included the supply and installation of the full FF&E requirement for over 250 office and working spaces. GETC was proud to supply the entire range of office furniture and fittings including, meeting desks, workstations, seating, bookshelves, reception furniture, lounges, lamps and much more. Taking inspiration from the famed Australian artist, Yannima Pirkarli Tommy Watson, the Furnishings were specified to reflect a modern, exciting and functional workspace. The use of solid oak tabletops on high quality folding conference legs provided full versatility and flexibility within the main meeting areas. The custom upholstered Eames replica chairs were built to a specific standard and design specified by the client. Apart from the Loose-furniture component, GETC also supplied a complete range of specialised, high quality bathroom fittings for the Penthouse level apartments. 6 COMPLETE SUITE & A P A R T M E N T F F & E STUDIO SUITE HOTEL During the process, GETC was called upon to expedite the delivery of particular elements in order for the client to meet an accelerated work plan. Once production of the required items was accelerated within the factories, GETC s dedicated shipping and logistics team, located in the Shanghai Head Office, arranged an express airfreight service of over 30cbm of materials. As costly as this sounds, GETC was able to deliver the solution for the client early and with a 22% saving to the approximate locally quoted price. The Architectural drawings provided for estimation show design intent but are often inaccurate in detail and material specification. GETC takes great care with all documentation to make certain our clients have a complete knowledge of the product, and the factory knows precisely how to produce it. Starting with basic 3D and elevation drawings detailing specifications such as the exact proportions and materials required for each model. Exploded diagrams allow easy component identification and assist with installation processes, complete with colour and specification listings on materials and colours used. Finally, detailed renderings provide a lifelike example of the finished result, illustrating the appearance of the materials.
