3 All 1st-6th Grade Students : Students in 1 st -6 th grade may drink water in their classroom and on warm days this is important. However, they may only have water in clear, plastic water bottles with the snap close top. Each student should bring a water bottle with their name written on it with permanent marker. Because FCS no longer has drinking fountains, but rather water stations to insure sanitation, it is vital that students bring their water bottle each day otherwise, students will be sent to the office to purchase a water bottle. All K-6th Grade Students : All elementary students will be required to purchase a field trip t-shirt. These shirts will help us keep track of all our precious children whenever the class takes a field trip. T-shirts will cost $25.00 each and may be ordered at Parent Orientation. After purchasing the t-shirt, please write your student s name on the inside tag with a permanent marker. Students will not be permitted to go on a field trip without this t-shirt. REMINDER: In order for your student s chromebook to have the protections and safeguards of the school s system, the device must be managed by the school. If you have purchased a device, but did not submit it to the office for management, the safeguards do not apply to your student s computer. For more information, office@fcs-online.org. The Following Items Are Not Allowed To Be Used At FCS : Any kind of gel pens, any kind of colored pens (except red), any colored paper (only white is permissible), no spiral bound or perforated spiral bound notebooks for homework (teachers may, however, request a spiral bound notebook for journaling purposes only). All homework must be completed on loose leaf notebook paper. Liquid white out is not permitted only white out tape. The following fees will be placed on the family online account, and will be due on September 1st : All K-6th Grade Students Art Fee : Each K 6 th student is assessed a fee of $30 for classroom arts/crafts resources. All K-6th Grade Students - Incentives Fee: Each K-6 th Grade teacher maintains an incentives program prizes rewarding achievement. Each student in these grades is assessed a $25 fee to cover the costs of this program. 3rd-4th Literature Book Fee : The 3 rd -4 th grade class has a $20 literature fee to purchase books for the student s participation in literature groups. 5th-6th Literature Book Fee : The 5 th -6 th grade class has a $35 literature fee to purchase books for the student s participation in literature groups.
