1 Dragon*Con Guest Application Form Friday Sept. 2 Monday Sept. 5, 2005 We appreciate your interest in attending Dragon Con as a featured Guest. Please complete and return this form by the deadlines below in order to be issued a Pre-Registration badge and to be eligible for programming and/or Comic Artist Sketch Tables. This form is only an application for Guest status for the 2005 show. Completion of this form does not guarantee Guest Status for the event. All Guest forms will be reviewed and you will be notified as to your status for Due to space constraints, all guests requesting space on the Walk of Fame and the Comic Artist Alley will be juried and notified as soon as possible. No guarantees are made in regard to space on the Walk of Fame or Comic Artist Alley. Please complete and return this questionnaire as soon as possible, but no later than July 10, No Guest forms will be accepted after this date for the 2005 convention. If you do not make the deadline, On-site Guest registration will carry a $40.00 surcharge, and credentials will be required. With your submission please include: 1. A current biography written in 3rd person, on PC based diskette, zip disk, or CD Rom, or submitted electronically via e- mail to dragoncon@dragoncon.org for our Progress Reports, Program Book and Web Site. Please use a common word processing format such as Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Rich Text or Plain Text. No Applications will be accepted without a bio. Do not send us to your website for bios. 2. A color or b/w photograph or drawing of yourself. This may be included on the disk or submitted electronically. We can scan photographs, but please only send us a dispensable copy. If you are submitting electronically, please use, GIF (.gif) or JPEG (.jpg), or TIF (.tiff) formats at 72 dpi for the web and 300 dpi for print. No Applications will be accepted without a photo. Do not send us to your website for photos. 3. Anything else that would assist us in promoting your appearance: - A 7" x 10" original illustration for our program book. - A short story, essay, section or chapter (must be submitted electronically) from a forthcoming publication. Suite #100 Atlanta, GA Donations mailed into the office will photograph and posted on the website to receive early publicity to encourage excitement at the charity auction. Or drop your donation off at the Guest Registration area located in the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, International Ballroom during the Convention. Remember to drop it off early so that it makes it to auction! Table Requests: Due to space constraints, all guests requesting space on the Walk of Fame and the Comic Artist Alley will be juried and notified as soon as possible. There are a limited number of tables available and Dragon*Con cannot guarantee you will receive any table requested. If you are issued a table you will be notified prior to the convention. In order to provide attending members with the most benefit, you must use any space provided for the specifically requested purpose. Comic Artist Table - These 1/2 tables are for comic artists only who want to sketch, paint draw or otherwise practice and sell their original art in a demonstration style atmosphere.
