Every month we bring you incredible stories about the world s most exciting destinations and new experiences, written by award-winning journalists and packed with stunning photography. Since February 2017, lonelyplanet.nl is live: a Dutch Lonely Planet website with the latest travel news and discoveries, plus information about (almost) every destination on the planet. Pijper Media also creates custom branded Lonely Planet content, such as guidebooks and bookazines.

8 Custom branded content Lonely Planet has a world of travel content available for custom branded products. Pijper Media has a license to create custom Lonely Planet branded products in Dutch, such as guidebooks and bookazines. The possibilities are endless. We can create a custom product about one destination, two or multiple, with a broad travel theme or a specific theme, such as food, festivals or roadtrips. A branded calender is also available. Brand case: BOOKAZINE FOR LAY S In the autumn of 2016, we created a one-off travel bookazine about food & festivals for Lay s Sensations: Taste the world. This Lonely Planet branded product contained a unique selection of travel articles a culinary trip around the world. The bookazine was given away for free with the purchase of two new Lay s Sensations crisps products in 600 supermarkets in the Netherlands. Brand case: CITYTRIPS GUIDE FOR L ORÉAL In the spring of 2016, we created a one-off citytrips guide for L Oréal: 8 Citytrips in the Netherlands & Belgium. This Lonely Planet branded product was a unique mix of existing Lonely Planet content and new content created especially for this guidebook. The guide was given away for free with the purchase of two L Oréal products in Kruidvat, one of the leading drugstores in the Netherlands and Belgium.
