1 Xmas and New Year countable and uncountable nouns negotiation Student A Work in pairs (or with two teams per group). Your teacher will tell you who is Student A and who is Student B. Your sheet has the things that you (already) possess and can swap with your partner. You can also look at your partner s sheet to see what things you can get from them. Try to find things below that your partner is happy to swap with something that they have on their list, reaching agreement on exactly what and how much or how many each of you will give to make that exchange. When you finish, another group will try to judge which of you got a better deal (each time and overall), so think about the value of what you are giving and getting and try to bargain hard with your partner. You can also combine several things from your worksheet and/ or your partner s worksheet in each agreement you make if you like. If you aren t sure, try putting the noun with a number (in place of some ) and -s and see if it sounds right or not.
