COLOURED TRANSLUCENT PORCELAIN has ceramic colourants mixed into the clay itself by the artist. 5 1219 Swirl Vase 5 in wheel thrown white Translucent Porcelain with 2 multicoloured hand built, assembled, patterned Translucent Porcelain murrinis and wisps of blue incorporated into the ball of clay prior to throwing on the wheel. The upward pull of the artist s hands and the motion of the wheel stretch and swirl the colours and patterns. The bottom half has a lovely diagonal chatter textured pattern. Clear glaze overall x 14cm (4.5 x 5.5 ) 2230F oxidation firing $ Striped Tray White Translucent Porcelain hand built tray with blended multi-coloured Translucent Porcelain, stretched and applied strips in yellow to medium green and light to dark blues. This tray has curled handles, side waves and a boat shaped base. Clear glaze overall. 5 x 30.5 x 15cm (4.5 x 11.5 x 6 ) 2230F oxidation firing.
