Monthly Find Winners Artifacts: Britain Lockhart w/ MXT Monthly Presentations: Robert Powell shared his best finds from the last 5 years. Metal detecting since 1987, Robert enjoys hunting parks, schools and beaches. His display of gold and silver jewelry was quite impressive. Included in his rings was a very nice Tanzanite and diamond ring that made the cover of Western Treasure magazine. His recovery of a David Yurman pendent was very nice as well. Robert has assisted a number of people over the years finding lost jewelry. Robert s metal detecting arsenal includes 7 detectors, but he typically hunts with a Minelab 705 and a Surfmaster.

Dr. Garrett and his wife Eleanor founded Garrett Metal Detectors in Our own Peter Thomas has developed a finds and collectibles tracking website This is a great website to keep track of your metal detecting recoveries and other collectibles (bottles, etc.). You can share your finds on the website and link them to Facebook. The website also has a mapping feature to track locations. The nice part is that you can set your finds to private or public. Club Meeting Information Meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of the month (no meeting in December) at 7 PM at the Gwinnett County Fire Station # Old Norcross Road Duluth, GA We are always in need of items to be used for door prizes at our meetings.
