This coating as a stabilizing barrier to changing climate conditions. It has great advantages in the stripping process with the smooth coated finish. 3 BIRCH DIEBOARD All panels are 100% Birch with an exterior black glue line. Free of voids, smooth and dimensionally accurate, this plywood is a longtime standard for the die making industry. Birch dieboard, with its multi-ply, voidless core, holds rule very tight and is suitable for most diecutting applications. For birch orders over $ deduct 5%. All are 5/16" thick and when two are laminated together using the precise Gerber manufacturing system they end up at the standard dieboard thickness of 5/8" thick. The exterior birch has a black, rigid, phenolic glue line while the interior has a white urea glue which is a little less abrasive on the tooling. The laser cutting speed and the dimensional stability has been practically doubled as compared to Perma Plex Platinum. This composite dieboard now provides even more dimensional stability for long run, high precision uses, particularly for high heat applications. 6 REVO ROTARY DIEBOARDS These rotary dieboards are the world s first recycled dieboard. Constructed almost entirely of recycled paper and formaldehyde free resin, they offer the converting industry an environmentally friendly alternative to hardwood plywood rotary dieboards. Revo rotary dieboards were initially developed for the short run and P-O-P displays, as a roughly 50,000 to 75,000 impression tool.
