1 Sheepshead, THE Game Release Notes Release 1.0 Initial Release Release 1.1 5/20/ Improved logic that determines when to play the Ace of Diamond and the Ten of Diamonds. Requested by BBaures. 2. Improved logic that determines the playing of the high trump card for the hand when playing in the fifth position of the current trick by the opponent. Requested by Dave the Developer. 3. 4 6. Fixed issue when playing Called Ace as partner, you were the partner and the Called Ace suit was led the first trick and the picker picked before you. Bob S. and John S. Release /01/ Added ability to change the card table color, card back color, dealer identifier color, picker identifier color, button back color and button text color. 2. Added the ability to play a sound when a blitz or crack is declared. 3. Moved the position of the Deal button to eliminate automatic picks when the user has a sensitive mouse. 4. Change Voice Activated Playing (VAP) to allow the user to say the card number or the card name to play the card. The card number is defined in the help under playing the game with the keyboard. 5. Added a link to under the help menu. 6. Added the ability to change the player s name. 7. Removed the Standings window. Replaced it with a Statistics window. The Statistics window, along will displaying the standings, will also display game stats and player stats. The hands per game has been bumped up to 100 hands per game. 8. Added a beginner mode. If this option is checked, the game will display the remaining trump count, picking team points, opponent points and the points won on the last trick. 9. Added the option to play the Ace of Clubs through the Seven of Clubs as trump instead of the Ace of Diamonds through the Seven of Diamonds. 1. Corrected issue where game allowed you to lead a card of the suit of the called ace that is not the ace on the first lead of the called ace suit. Dave 2. Added logic for partner to play card with the lowest points in the fifth position if trump lead and cards are of equal power. Bill Baures 3. Corrected logic to determine if opponents following the current player have trump. Dave 4. Fixed issue where picker blitzed red jacks, was cracked and then cracked back and blitzed red jacks. Bill Baures 5. Added this logic for called ace. If on 5 th trick, if the called ace has not been played yet, if 2 trump left in game, the opponent has the lowest trump, the opponent will not play its card. The assumption is that the other trump is in the picker s hand and the picker is forced to play it on the fifth trick. Dave 6. For Called Ace as partner, added code to allow opponent to play ace or ten of diamonds if the opponent has no ace or ten of another not trump suit. Dave 7. Added logic to make you have a high probability of being partner if you blitz black queens or black jacks or red queens. Dave

Added logic to make player high probability of being picker if the player plays the a king or ten or ace of diamonds on a queen of clubs lead by picker and then on next trump lead of picker plays a lesser trump card. Dave 9. Added logic if partner is leading 4 th trick and not playing called ace and trump lead 3 times, play an ace if partner has one. Dave 10. Added logic if partner on the end and non trump owns the trick and partner does not have suit led, play ace or ten of diamonds or low trump. Dave 11. Improved the logic that determines if your high trump card is guarded by smaller trump cards. Dave Release /04/2011 Bug Fix 1. Corrected bug where picker could not play the in the hole card on the 6 th trick. This bug only happened if playing Called Ace as partner. Release /30/ Add this logic. If picker and playing in the 5 th position, do not allow opponent to take trick if that trick will give the opponent team more than 59 points. 2. Add this logic. If picker on the 5 th trick does not have high card and the remaining opponents do not have trump and the picker only has 1 trump, play the trump. 3. Add this logic. If opponent, on 5 th trick, if after the picker and partner played and opponent has the highest trump, play trump if the value of the cards played on the trick plus the high trump card point value > Improved the logic that determines partner probability. 5. Fixed issue where partner was not smearing picker when opponents to the left of partner were out of trump and picker was leading trump and the partner was out of trump. Bill Baures 6. Improved the logic to determine which card to play when the opponent is after the picker, it is the second lead of a non trump suit and another opponent has already played trump. Bill Baures 7. Add this logic. If picker and 5 th trick, if picker has 2 trump and the highest trump and there are 3 trump remaining in game, if opponent has trick with trump, play pickers highest trump. When non trump is lead and picker has more than 1 card of the non trump lead and the picker is playing in the 5 th position and trump has not been played, try and take trick with the pickers highest non trump card 9. Improved the logic for opponent on the 5 th trick and the opponent is playing in the 5 th position.

6 10. If picker picked with 5 trump and kept ace up, keep leading trump until the 5 th trick. 11. Improved the card ranking logic. 12. Improve logic when partner leads a QS or QH. Bill Baures 13. Added logic to set the partner to the picker if the picker buries the called partner card. Release 4.3 2/10/2011 Bug Fix 1. Corrected bug where partner leads trump and opponent would play a JC or better and the original trump count of the picker was less than 4. The game would shut down. 1. Add this logic. If 5 th trick and partner is playing before picker and points on the board are > 9 and current trick winner does not have the high card in the game, smear the trick 2. Improved opponent play logic on 5 th trick playing in the 5 th position with the high trump card. 3. Improved logic to determine which card the opponent should play on the 5 th trick when playing after the picker and partner and an opponent is the trick owner. 4. Improved logic that determines the player s partner probability. Bill Baures Release 4.4 2/25/ Added option to have the computer speak only certain messages that are displayed on the message board 1. Improved partner probability logic. 2. Improved picker trumping in when suit is lead logic 3. Fixed this logic. If playing Jack of Diamonds as partner call up before picking and a computer player picks and has the jack of diamonds before picking, the game would allow the picker to call the next highest jack that it does not have. Release 4.5 3/12/ Changed the trial period from 3 days to 30 days.

Fixed issue where the game did not choose a partner for called ace when the picker had all 3 aces and had a hand of three trump and three cards of the same suit. 3. Fixed issue where the opponent with the queen of clubs on the first trump lead would automatically play the QC when in the 5 th position when a lesser card could have taken the trick. 4. Corrected logic where the picker had more than 6 trump and did not go alone. Scott S. 5. Corrected issue where picker took the 5 th trick with its high trump card when the lesser trump card would have worked. Scott S 6. Corrected issue where opponent did not play high suit card when another opponent hand trumped in on a not trump lead with highest trump and was playing before the picker.

8 7. Corrected logic where the picker and partner have played, opponent has high trump and Power Trump option is turned on. The game would play the high trump card. Now it checks to see if a lower trump card would due. 8. Corrected logic on 5 th trick where picker had the only trump left in the game plus a high suit card. The game will now play the trump card. 9. Corrected logic on 5 th trick, Called Ace, picker going alone, picker has 2 trump out of 3 left in game, high trump and low trump. Picker trumped with high trump when remaining opponents had no trump. Corrected to use low trump. 10. Change the opponent trump logic when the opponent has high trump and other trump and the opponent leads the second highest trump. The opponent will now play high trump 11. Changed logic on 5 th trick when the partner is leading. If the partner has high trump and there are more than 3 trump left in the game, the partner will lead trump. Mike S 12. Fixed problem where if the partner was you and you were the leader of the first trick and you wished to not lead trump, you could not lead a not trump card. 13. Improved card ranking logic. 14. Add this logic. If opponent is leading on trick 5 and has high trump and there are less the 4 trump remaining in the game and opponent has a buck suit card, the opponent will lead trump 15. Improved logic to determine where an opponent will play a small trump card or a 10 or Ace card not of the suit led 16. Improved logic for picker when opponent lead the same suit more than once. Improved the logic for the opponent when the opponent has his high trump guarded more than once and his guarding trump cards are less than the Jack of Diamonds and he is playing before the picker on the first trump lead. Changed logic for jack of diamonds. On fifth trick and partner has not shown, the picker will take the 5 th trick. 30. Change logic for opponent on fifth trick playing in fifth position after the picker.
