Here are just some of the many reasons. - Our candle fragrances are developed in collaboration with some of the world s top fragrance houses. - We use an exclusive formulation of high-quality materials, from highly refined wax to lead-free wicks, for a clean burn and maximum performance. - Our candles are vigorously tested for safety in PartyLite s state-of-the-art Research and Development facility. - PartyLite products meet or exceed internationally recognised candle safety standards. - We offer a wide variety of candle fragrances in a variety of colours. 3-Wicks & Petite 3-Wicks 3-Wick & Petite 3-Wicks Our powerhouse candle, the round 3-wick, which consumes down to a pancake-sized disc, is a terrific value. Enjoy the multiple points of light. Burn Times 3-Wick 15cm x 20cm: 200+ hours Petite 3-Wick 15cm x 12cm: 100+ hours When burned according to care instructions, 3-wicks consume down to a pancake-sized disc. Consistent levels of colour and fragrance throughout the 3-wick. Sold individually. Care To promote even burning, position each wick toward centre of the candle. Do not trim wicks. When lighting a 3-wick, allow enough burning time for the wax to completely liquefy to the edges of the candle (approx. six hours). This helps prevent tunneling. Once the 3-wick has liquefied to its outer edge, extinguish, allow wax to solidify, then relight. This helps prevent possible spillover. Throughout the burn, while the 3-wick is pliable, periodically shape or hug the 3-wick by using your thumbs to gently press the soft edges inward around the rim. This keeps the surface as even as possible. Mottled finish 3-wicks should be gently pressed. Extinguish and discard the 3-wick when it is within 2.5cm of the holder. 4 Aroma Products Aroma Melts The high-impact fragrant Aroma Melts wax is made of the finest quality paraffin with solid colour and fragrance throughout. The fragrance experience will last hours. Aroma Melts are wickless. Completely liquefies within 45 minutes to add instant fragrance to the home. Does not consume, but the fragrance will dissipate. Replace after hours of use. Sold in boxes of four or as a set with our Aroma Melts tealight sampler. Care To use, simply place the Aroma Melts wax in the bowl of the Aroma Melts Warmer and light a tealight in the bottom. You can expect the Aroma Melts to liquefy within 45 minutes. The Aroma Melts wax does not consume itself like a votive, so replace after hours of use. Do not move an Aroma Melts Warmer when the tealight is lit, because liquefied wax can spill. To remove the used Aroma Melts wax, let the wax solidify completely, then press on the edges of the wax with your thumbs. The wax must be completely cool for it to slip out in one whole piece. Do not use anything sharp or abrasive to remove the Aroma Melts wax as it may scratch the interior of the warmer. Your Aroma Melts Warmer can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Dry immediately. Do not place in the dishwasher. Do not place food in your Aroma Melts Warmer. Liquefied wax is hot and may cause skin burns if touched. Do not touch at any time. Recommended for use only with PartyLite Aroma Melts Warmers. Ball Candles Ball and Mini Ball Candles Ball candles add interest to candle gardens when placed with either square or round pillars. Burn Times Ball 7cm: hours Mini Ball 5cm: hours Ball candles are made of a solid core of lighter-coloured, fragranced, pressed wax. The core is then overdipped with a coloured wax that melts at a higher temperature than the interior wax. Ball candles retain their shape, leaving only a thin shell when the candle is finished burning. The harder outer layer of wax makes the ball candle ideal for use in moderate drafts as it will not spill over the edges. Ball 7cm candles are sold in packs of two. At Shows, Customers may have questions about this unique product. Well Being by PartyLite and Fresh Home by PartyLite Reed Diffusers do not include decorative reeds, wooden collar or charms. Reed Diffusers Refills Reed diffuser refills are now available in all reed diffuser fragrances. A refill includes a set of reeds and a funnel cap for easy pouring. 147 ml To Use Place funnel cap on bottle and carefully pour fragrance into reed diffuser glass bottle. Place new reeds in the bottle and enjoy. Do not wash bottle with water before adding fragrance oil. If fragrance spills, immediately wipe with dry cloth. 7 Decorative Accents Accents - Pure Green Accents - Exotic Brown Our Accents are designed to add a fresh, natural look to the PartyLite Decorative Reed Diffuser. These botanicals are the perfect way to adorn the base of the Symmetry 3 in 1 Holder, Naturally Modern Holder (each sold separately) or the interior of any vase or bowl. Includes 12 natural reeds (3 decorative, 9 dyed standard rattan reeds) and matching decorative unscented botanicals. When using with a reed diffuser, adjust fragrance strength by adding or removing dyed reeds. Place some of the unscented botanicals in the bottom of the large glass cylinder. Handle botanicals gently to avoid breakage. Do not overfill large holder. When placing the smaller reed diffuser holder inside the large glass holder (filled with botanicals), make sure the diffuser sits flat and level. Oversized decorative reeds are designed for larger reed diffuser holders (such as the Symmetry 3 in 1 Holder). However, you can use these reeds with smaller glass reed diffusers, such as our Well Being by PartyLite, Fresh Home by PartyLite or Decorative Reed Diffusers, by shortening the length of the reeds. Gently trim approximately 5cm to 7cm with pruning sheers and place the reeds into your diffuser. Do not use with Tri Glow Reed Diffusers. Keep reeds away from open flames and lit candles. Do not light reeds. Do not place reeds or decorative botanicals on a tabletop surface, furniture or fabric if they have come in contact with fragrance oil. This may stain fabrics and damage finished surfaces. Use reeds with PartyLite Reed Diffuser Fragranced Oil only. Do not use or mix with any other oil. Non-edible. Fragranced oil is absorbed by our natural reeds and diffused throughout your living space. What makes PartyLite fragranced oils so special? Containing essential oils, our products are tested extensively to guarantee the quality of the fragrance and duration of the fragrance release. Another unique attribute is that fragrance oil by PartyLite does not contain any alcohol. Therefore, there is no need to flip the reeds to maintain the fragrance throw. What are the reeds made of? PartyLite reeds are made out of natural rattan. How long does the fragrance last? To demonstrate the fragrance, pass around an unlit votive in the same fragrance to your Guests. Floaters Float PartyLite floaters in decorative bowls of water or a glass hurricane in a candle stand for relaxing, multiple points of light. Stand cone on centre of PartyLite s incense tray and place on a stable surface. Light the pointed end of the incense. Your cone should glow red and produce a delicate wisp of pale, fragrant smoke, which indicates the incense is smoldering properly. (If the flame does not self extinguish then carefully blow out the flame to produce smoldering). Burning tip: approximately 0.5cm of the incense cone will remain. This is inherent to the shape. When incense is not in use, store in a cool, dry place. Always be sure incense is completely extinguished before disposal. Do not touch or move incense or holder while burning. 14 Care To use with floater candles, simply take your room temperature bowl and fill it with room temperature water. (Make sure bowl and water are both at room temperature). Never place ice in bowl. Empty water from bowl and dry after each use. Gently clean by wiping with a soft, dry damp cloth and dry. Pillars Round and Square Pillars, all finishes Designed to burn evenly, pillars deliver a long lasting, consistent burn throughout the life of each pillar. Care for Round, Rustic, Mottled and Well Being Spa by PartyLite Pillars After burning round pillars for a few hours, extinguish. Then gently press the soft wax sides inward around the edges ( hug ) to promote even and full consumption, and relight. Available in scented and unscented. Trim the wick to 0.5cm each time before relighting. Extinguish and discard pillars when within 2.5cm of the holder. Sold individually. For pillars with a mottled finish do not hug candle, gently touch inward. Care for Square Pillars Unlike round pillars, it is not necessary to hug square pillars. Trim the wick to 0.5cm each time before relighting. Sold individually. TIPS FOR ROUND AND SQUARE PILLARS, ALL FINISHES To promote even burning, burn pillars at least long enough for the wax to liquefy to the edges, or for approximately one hour for each 2.5cm of the pillar s diameter. For example: Burn a pillar that is 7cm in diameter for approximately three hours. When a pillar burns for many hours, a deep pool of wax can form as the wick gets longer and curls. This may cause the wax to spill over the sides or the wick to drown in the wax. To prevent this, keep the wick centred and remember to trim to 0.5cm before the candle is lit each time. If wax is not melting evenly around the pillar edge, try rotating the pillar, or move the candle to a different location. When arranging two or more candles together, maintain at least 5cm of space between the sides of the candles. Do not let candles touch each other. Colours and finishes are based on the latest colour and home décor trends and are easy to incorporate into any home style. 15 Woodgrain Square Pillar Candles Each candle is handcrafted by rolling thin layers of wax, then forming the candle into a square shape to reveal the wood pattern inside. Just as in nature, each candle will display its own unique woodgrain pattern. After burning the pillars for four hours, extinguish, then gently apply pressure inward (between the peaks of the candle) to promote even burning and full consumption, and re-light. Trim the wick to 0.5cm each time before relighting. Extinguish and discard pillars when within 2.5cm of the holder. When arranging two or more candles together, maintain at least 5cm of space between the sides of the candles. Do not let the candles touch each other. Sold individually. Always remove any residual wax and metal clip from the holder before adding a new votive. Do not use anything sharp or abrasive to remove wax from a holder, as it may scratch the interior of the cup. 22 Can we advise that our candle fragrances are therapeutic? PartyLite does not support any therapeutic claims in association with our fragrances and asks that these claims not be made in connection with our products. This policy helps protect you, as well as the company, from any potential liability. Is there anything special I should do before burning my candle? For best results, trim the wick to 0.5cm before lighting, with the exception of tealights and 3-wicks. Instructions say to burn a 3-wick for up to six hours each time. What if I can t do that? After the first few burns, you can extinguish your 3-wick earlier than the recommended six hours. But make sure that the next burn is at least five to six hours. You should not consecutively burn less than six hours. How do I tell if a candle return is a legitimate return? Even though each candle is thoroughly tested, there are occasions when a new candle is flawed and might be returned for an exchange or a refund. A candle is a return if: It has an air bubble which caused liquid wax to spill from the side. The wick cannot be centred in the candle. The candle was misshapen, cracked, or broken when the customer received the order. A candle is not a return if: The candle has faded in sunlight or appears to have lost fragrance after several months of being displayed, but not burned. PartyLite candles have true colour and fragrance, but they do not last forever. A candle s fragrance is activated when the lit candle has liquefied the wax. Candles are not burned properly as suggested in PartyLite s product inserts. Candle Care Tips Centreing Wicks: It not only helps candles burn evenly, but also protects the sides of the holder or container that could be damaged by close contact with the flame. Use an unbent paper clip to position the wick when necessary. Placement of Candles: To avoid spillover from the wax pool, always place candles on a flat, level surface, away from drafts. Storage: Candles are sensitive to both temperature and light; avoid colour fading, melting or cracking by storing candles in a cool, dry, dark place. Avoid placing candles in direct sunlight to prevent fading and warping. Grouping: When grouping lit candles, keep candles and holders at least 5cm apart from side to side to prevent excessive heat buildup, which can cause the candles to spill over. Beautifying: Keep candles beautiful and clean by rubbing gently with a fine mesh stocking to heighten the gloss and remove any scratches. Releasing Fragrance: Over time, candles may appear to lose their fragrance. Interaction with air creates a surface barrier that traps fragrance inside. To release fragrance, simply rub the candle with a mesh cloth and the candle will smell like new. Removing Wax from Glass Holders: To remove wax from glass, run under hot water until the wax is melted, then wash with warm, soapy water. Excessive wax may also be easily removed from holders by cooling in the freezer until the hardened wax pops out. Bring holders back to room temperature before reusing. 23 Removing Wax (Carpet): To remove wax from carpeting, please contact your local carpet supplier for instructions. Many new carpets contain synthetic fibres that can melt if exposed to extreme temperature. PartyLite does not recommend using heat to remove wax from carpeting. Safety Tips Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish the flame before falling asleep or leaving a room. Keep burning candles within sight. Never move a lit candle or touch the liquid wax at any time. Extinguish and let the wax harden before moving to a new location. Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets. Placement: Do not place holders in drafty areas or on top of televisions or other electronic equipment or furniture that could be damaged by heat or in drafty areas. Always burn candles in appropriate heat-resistant holders on heat-safe surfaces. When grouped together, candles should be separated 5cm apart from side to side. Keep natural materials and flammable rings away from candles and always keep candles a safe distance from combustible materials such as curtains. Extinguish. Do not allow a candle to burn down completely. Extinguish the candle when it gets to within 1cm of the holder bottom or 0.5cm of a jar bottom. This minimizes the risk of the candle or holder overheating. Debris: Keep liquid wax free of wick and match debris, as these are flammable. Always remove the metal sustainer from a completely burned votive. Wick trimming: For most candles, you achieve the best burn when you trim the wick to 0.5cm before each lighting (except tealights and 3-wicks). Removing carbon: If black deposits build up and form a carbon ball on the candle wick, extinguish the candle, then trim the wick for clean and even burning. Carbon balls that fall into the wax should be removed. This is because carbon ball debris can cause the candle to burn unevenly and can pose a safety issue. Snuffer: Always use a snuffer to extinguish candles. This prevents wax from spraying and wicks from drifting off centre. Do not extinguish candles with water, as it may cause wax to splatter or the container to break.
