2 This is a UK Club Machine with 5 line multi stake basic game, a Hi Lo main feature and when activated, a guaranteed prize board. Basic Game There are three reels, five win lines and three player selectable stakes. On the lowest stake, the centre winline is active. On the middle stake, the three horizontal winlines are active. On the highest stake, all five winlines are active. The basic game involves reels with standard fruit symbols. Access to the Hi Lo feature game is via reel wins. Non round-pound initial wins must be gambled once before they can be collected. Some green houses next to cash values will light. The player can now Hi lo gamble up the trail. An incorrect hi or low guess will terminate the feature (lose). If the player reaches one of the houses, a feature will be offered (see feature description). Change Number If the starting hi lo number is not,,,0, or then a change number bonus number will be awarded. The Monopoly symbol from the original number and from the new number will both be included in the bonus matrix. Bonuses Each hi lo number has one of four monopoly symbols associated with it. These symbols are arranged in a matrix: - HAT IRON DOG BOAT - - HAT IRON DOG BOAT - The bonus symbol from the starting number and any subsequent gambles adds to the matrix. 4

5 If a vertical line is completed e.g. HAT-HAT, a bonus is awarded to the player via a pseudo skill stop on the dappling bonuses. The two symbols are then removed from the matrix. If a horizontal line is completed e.g. HAT-IRON-DOG-BOAT, then the player selects a bonus via a sequential true skill stop through the bonuses. The four symbols are then removed from the matrix. Bonus Gamble: Once a bonus is awarded the player can gamble for another using the adjacent gamble button. The awarded bonus is eliminated, and pointers above the bonuses sweep back and forth slowing to a stop, if the arrow points to a lit bonus it is awarded, if it points to an eliminated bonus then game over. All bonuses are reinstated for the next hi lo bonus. Bonus Outcomes: Property Boom: See Below : Lights one if the repeat chance icons. Uncle Penny Bags: Adds an Uncle Penny Bags feature symbol. Change Number: Swaps the current Hi-lo number. Boost: Moves or more positions up the cash trail Shoe: Adds to the shoe trail Get out of Jail: Adds an Extra Life symbol Property Boom Can do one or either of: Light more houses next to cash trail, or turn some features red. Repeat chance icons are awarded via the hi lo bonus. A maximum of 5 can be accumulated. These are arranged in a circle with a 6 th win position. If the player has a cash win at the end of the game, it can be increased by the repeat feature. The repeat chance is awarded by spinning the icons clockwise. If the cycle stops with a lit segment outside in the Win area then no repeat is awarded and the game ends. However, if the cycle stops with a lit segment on the win area then the award is repeated, and arrow is removed, if any arrows are left the sequence is repeated until no repeat chance icons are left. This all occurs within the same game as the original win. The accumulating win is shown in the meter. Change Number Automatically replaces the current hi lo number with a better one. The bonus should bias towards this outcome if the current number is not,,,0, or. Boost Advances the player up the cash ladder, if an exchange position is reached a feature will be offered, however, if an exchange position is passed a feature will not be offered. 5

6 Get out of Jail A get out jail card awards an extra life. These are awarded via the hi lo bonus. A maximum of can be accumulated. Shoe A shoe icon awards sneak preview. These are awarded via the hi lo bonus. A maximum of can be accumulated. When the player presses the Sneak preview button, the next hi lo number will be shown on the alphanumeric display. Monopoly The monopoly board is accessed when three Uncle Penny Bags symbols have been collected. When accessed every correct hi lo guess moves the player around the board a number of positions displayed on the dice (above the hi lo number). Subsequent Uncle Penny Bags bonus symbols advance the player to the next cash position. Cash from the board accumulates in the meter, and if the player loses the hi lo guess then this value is awarded. Each cash value landed on in the board is multiplied by this amount before being added to the meter. 6

7 Super Tax A large amount is taken out of the meter Community Chest Gives one of the following: It s your birthday : Zoom around the board, adding in various cash values to the meter Get Out Of Jail Free : Lights an extra life. Bank Error : Adds a random amount to the meter Advance to Go : Does that, incrementing multiplier when it gets there. Street Repairs : Remove a random amount from the meter.? (Chance) Gives one of the following: Go To Jail : Move to jail, and board closed unless player has a Get Out Of Jail card. Get Out Of Jail Free : Lights an extra life. Go Back : Move back squares Parking Fine : Remove a random amount from the meter Advance to x : Move player around to x, where x is any square. Go to Jail Player is sent back to the jail square. The monopoly board feature is ended unless they have a get out of jail card. If the Monopoly board feature is ended because of a chance square, or Go to Jail, then a Mr Penny Bags symbol is turned off. If the player gets another, the Monopoly board is activated again, and the meter continues from its previous value. Features If a feature exchange position (Monopoly house) is reached during the hi lo gamble sequence, one of the following features will be offered. Win Series A winning streak on the reels is awarded. Monopoly Money Various combinations of values are shown on the cash trail. The player selects the best combination. Drop Shot A light flickers around the cash trail and stops at a particular point. The cash ladder sweeps down from the point stopped. The player must stop the best value. If it reaches the bottom then 50p is awarded. 7

8 Link up A block of wins is shown on the cash ladder. The player is then given a shot at the top value if it misses then a shot is awarded at a value below, and again until a third miss which awards the current value. If the player hits a value then a further block of wins is added above the current level and three shots are awarded again. Hot Property A single lamp dapples on the cash values around the Monopoly board, player pseudo skill stops the best offer. A repeat chance is awarded on the win Choose a Win The reels spin to wins and the player is offered the combined win. If the player doesn t collect, the reels spin off and a new combination is offered. The feature continues until the player either collects, or the feature times out (in which case the latest offer is awarded). The machine should not indicate to the player the total value of the wins either on the alpha or the cash trail. Big Shot One or more lamps dapple on the Monopoly board, player stops best combination and all values are added together. Take a Chance Starting at 50p the player skill stops a toggle between 50p and, if they hit the higher value then a toggle between and.50 and so on until the lower of the two values is stopped. Cash Seeker Alpha based find the pea, player must select the best cash value from different hidden and jumbled cash prizes. Selection is made using Hold buttons, and. Hi Lo K.O Awards x knockouts in the cash ladder x = Current number on the Hi Lo reel. Double your money Two cash values/ numbers either side of +, - and x symbols all constantly changing on the alphanumeric display. The player stops the best combination, and the sum of the calculation is awarded. E.g. 0 x etc. Turbo Bucks A turbo gamble on the winplan starting at Pay Day Alpha based feature showing partly masked cash values. The mask constantly moves revealing other parts of the win but never reveals the complete value. E.g. *.0.** 0.*0.*0 *.0 *.70 etc. All three values change after the all sections have been revealed at least once. Player selects best combination using start button. 8

9 Feature Gamble Once a feature has been offered, the player can use the gamble button to shoot again for another feature. The initial feature that was offered is extinguished. If the gamble stops on that feature again, it is game over. If the player decides not to take a feature, and continues to hi lo gamble, the feature is no longer collectable. Any features that had been knocked out will turn red (unless of course the features were already red, in which case they will stay red). 9
