1 In ssociation with Logic Masters India Sample ooklet Note: This booklet is mainly meant to serve as practice to those who are new to Sudoku competitions and to give an idea of the structure of the online rounds. Please read the LMI F..Q. to know more about how to participate in LMI competitions, register for a free LMI login id if you don t have one, and communicate that to us. We will be enabling LMI ids of paying applicants to participate in ISKL. We want everyone to do their best so please familiarize yourself with the way online competitions are conducted and get all your queries addressed now to avoid surprises at the time of competition. 2 General structure The following document contains all Sudoku types which will appear in ISKL. These are all Sudokus which have appeared on past contests on Logic Masters India like Sudoku Mahabharat, which have been used for National qualifiers in previous years. The exact number of Sudokus will be given at a later date depending on the difficulty levels and creative themes that our authors come up with but this structure is close to how it will be, and the types that will appear are accurate for the later rounds. Round 1 Round 1 will contain 6x6, 8x8 and 9x9 Sudokus. Round 2 Round 2 will have 50% Sudokus of the three sizes mentioned above. It will also have some easy variations, in 6x6 and 9x9 sizes. Round 3 Round 3 will have around 30% Sudokus, and there will be some variations repeated from Round 2, along with some newer, slightly more difficult ones. Round 4 Round 4 s details are not inclusive in this sample booklet and will be released later. Sample Sudokus are given on the following pages of this document to give an indication of what will appear in Rounds 1-3 online on Logic Masters India, and these will serve as good practice for the online rounds. nswer Keys: Those of you who are new to online contests may wonder what the arrows labeled with letters are.
