1 Most recent update: January, 019 RightStart Mathematics Corrections and Updates for Level C/Grade Lessons and Worksheets, second edition LESSON / WORKSHEET CHANGE DATE CORRECTION OR UPDATE Lesson /01/01 Lesson 01/0/019 Lesson 0 01/0/019 Lesson 1 Worksheet 0 01/0/019 Lesson Worksheet 1//01 Toward the bottom of the page it should say: Next tell the child to write the five equations starting with + an odd number. [ + 1 = 3, + 3 =, + =, + = 9, + 9 = 11] The graphic on the second page should have "minuend" in the top circle, "subtrahend" in the bottom left and "difference" in the bottom right circle. On the second page, the last sentence of the second paragraph should read "An angle is the measure of space between two intersecting lines" rather than between two vertices. The seventh step has additional lines included that aren't drawn until the next step. See attached PDF. Problem 1 has been changed to read: The city of Logan, Utah is 3 feet above sea level. The city of Billings, Montana is at 313 ft. How much higher is Logan than Billings? [3 313 = 111 feet] New graphic for the lesson book is shown below. See attached worksheet PDF. Lesson 9 0/0/01 On the second page, the last set of graphics should look like this. The second and third abacus were incorrect. Lesson 1 Worksheet -B 01/0/019 Lesson Warm Up Practice 0/1/01 The story problem in the middle of the page is missing the $ sign at the end of the paragraph. Problem 1 should be a subtraction problem. See attached PDF.

2 Lesson 1 0/0/01 In the Warm-Ups, third paragraph, last sentence should read: About how long is 3 feet in centimeters, centimeters or 0 centimeters? [0 cm] Lesson 11 Worksheet 0 0/1/01 Problem graphic is incorrect. See attached PDF. Lesson 119 Worksheet 3 01/0/019 Lesson 1 01/0/019 Lesson 131 0//01 Lesson /0/019 Lesson 131 Worksheet 01/0/019 Lesson //01 Lesson 13 Worksheet 91 1//01 The second problem on the second row should read = 1, not 30. Answer in the lesson book should read 3 = 1. On the second page, the second paragraph should read, "A second solution is to fold and cut each strip into fourths and dole out the pieces equally to the four friends, with each friend receiving an amount equal to three fourths." On page 3, halfway down under Faces, Edges, and Vertices, it should say "triangular pyramid" not "triangular prism." On the second page, the picture of the geometric solids is changed to include octagonal prism, rather than a pentagonal prism. The last answer on the worksheet will be octagonal prism. The image of the triangular prism and rectangular prism have been reversed. An image of an octangonal prism replaces the image of the pentagonal prism. See attached PDF. On the second page, under Fraction Chart, the question "If you have one half what do you need to make 1?" should have the answer as one half, fourths, 3 sixths, eighths, or tenths. Line B measures 1 cm and -1/ in. See attached PDF for new worksheet. Line plot answer is 19 items, not 1 items. Lesson 13 0/1/01 Line A measures cm. Lesson 13 0/1/01 Under the Addition heading, it says 3 = [3]. Answer is [33]. Lesson 13 End Of Year Assessment #3 0//01 Questions were worded wrong. See attached PDF. Lesson 10 0/1/01 Under Problems 1-, it says = [9]. Answer is [1].
