2 Introduction: This is a brief report that document what is happening at the Kuwait Bird Market, from January to May It document 72 species of birds that are sold in Kuwait Bird Market today most probably caught in Kuwait or neighbouring countries. Six of these species are in the IUCN Red List. These are the Lesser Kestrel (vulnerable), Eastern Imperial Eagle (vulnerable), Pallid Harrier (near threatened), Eurasian Curlew (near threatened), Black-tailed Godwit (near threatened) and European Roller (near threatened). Also the report includes some reptiles, mammals and arthropods specially those that are thought to have been captured in Kuwait. Most of bird species are thought to have been caught in Kuwait, but some are believed to have been imported from neighbouring countries, especially when seller tells so as with Black Scrub Robin chicks from last summer and the Dark-chanting Goshawk.
