The plan required dozens of structural solid granite columns and a twentyfive ton carved marble staircase. This required early involvement, as collaboration with the architect and structural engineers was critical.

From this concept, our designers developed a threedimensional model of the entire structure. Each detailed panel drawing, in addition to the four unique newel posts, required a full-scale clay model for approval prior to carving any actual stone.

A preliminary computer model was created to determine the correct scale. Once approved, our designers created detailed shop drawings of every piece ensuring a precision fit during installation. Special planning was required prior to construction to coordinate the integrated lighting and plumbing with the crushing weight of this fountain. More than eighty tons of hand-carved granite was used to construct this magnificent fountain.
