1 Invitation to apply Dear ceramics we woud like you to invite to the first International,. The Internatinal are a concerted action featuring the Ceramic Market, the Majolika Manufaktur and the Kunst und Kulturstiftung der Majolika as well as single exhibitions in the Badisches Landesmuseum. The Ceramic Market takes place in the generous laid Schlosspark, the central refuge and urban retreat of the inhabitants. This event s target is to create with the Ceramic Market a connection from the Majolika to the Ceramic Exhibitions of the Badisches Landesmuseum. Based on the international invitation of tenders and an international selection committee there should be presented new, interesting and indivduel works to an open, dynamic and contemporary ceramic world and which could be offered to collectors., a metropolis of culture, art and fairs is the perfect place to combine tradition and history of ceramics with the artistic demand of a majolica and the creative and innovative products of the ceramists - so the general underständing of the art of ceramics will be aroused and possibly grow. Thus the comprehensive retrospective, dedicated to the Ceramist, Artist and Architect Max Läuger will take place in the r Schloss this year,. In addition to exhibitions, guided tours, special events related to majolica and ceramic market there ios a Ceramic Award worth 3000,- Euro prize money and a Young Artist Promotion Award featuring a one - week stay in a studio including accommodation at the Majolika Manufaktur. 3 Registration Attachment 1 photo of the booth, 2-3 photos of the ceramics Short vita, Professional background Workstyle Applications without photos are incomplete and will therefore not be presented to the selection comittee. Please attach a photo of your stand and 2-3 meaningful photos of your work to the application form. Use the given forms and stick the pictures on to. Pictures may be computer print outs, but please use photographic paper. Do not send Cds, catalogues or photo - files. If accepted : Acceptance will be open until 28. of February,. You will receive an invoice for 250 Euro plus 19 percent VAT which should be paid by 31. of March. The participants will not appear on the list of participants until payment has been made and the contract is binding. The organizers reserve their rights to name someone else for a booth according to the waiting list, if there is a delay in payment. Therefore later registrations and acceptences could occur on individual basis. If accepted, please provide the organizers with photos for press releases and advertisement. Reminder : Only complete and up until 31. of January posted (date of postmark) application forms will be presented to the selection committee. 6 Market Conditions All correspondence has to be send to the contact address in Sindelfingen, all letters to another address connot be considered. The market takes place in, on 28. and 29. of June. Opening hours: Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Setup starts Suterday at 7 a.m. and by agreement setup may be done Friday evening Cars must be removed by 10 a.m. from the market area and parked on the designated parking area. Deconstruction must not start prior to 6 p.m. on Sunday, the space has to be left clean. Carbage strictly has to be taken away. The market takes place in any kind of weather. Be considerate of the park, the park rules have to be adhered to There are no liabilities for loss or damage of any kind The exhibitor is obliged to only offer handmade goods from own production (no commercial merchandise) Ceramic business are selected by market-specific criteria which is done by the host and the organizers. The fee refers to uniform booth of 5 m length and 3 m depth and is 250 Euro plus 19 percent VAT. This fee has to be paid by 31. of March,. Otherwise the booth can be given to someone else according to waiting list. Registration has to be done in wiiting with the appropiate registration from until 31. of March, With his signature on the registration form the exhibitor acknowledges the market conditions and the contract is legally binding For cancellation a processing fee of 50 Euro will be charged. For cancellation less than 14 days before market opening there will be no refund of the fee.
