3 The TASSELLI collection is all about shapes. Architect Emanuele Bonzini - the designer of the collection - developed a new format (26.2x10x2 mm) which, combined with the Technology that characterises TILLA, creates new options for design projects. The result is a unique material with infinite potential uses, perfectly suited to create both details and large surfaces. For the young architect, the new tessera became a creative palette. A canvas that can be enhanced with glass decorations and graphic elements to communicate with the public. 3

4 Emanuele Bonzini designed a collection is inspired by architectural design, where the thickness of lines epitomises the project; by the patterns of loom works of art, where each weave helps create the design; by pastel tones, that bring surfaces to life with a 3D texture. TASSELLI is in pursuit of the strength of graphic elements, of the intensity in hues, of harmony in colours. The TASSELLI collection is designed for indoor and outdoor application. Its refined details are a perfect fit for projects of any size and scope. Each TASSELLO is a detail, each line is a geometrical figure, each surface a particular rhythm. 50 Applications Laying tips Care and maintenance TASSELLI ON FLEX SUPPORT Thanks to DG Mosaic patented module technology, installation time can be consinstently reduced compared to traditional systems. The laser-cut borders of each support sheet allow a puzzle-like joint that makes laying operations extremely simple, always granting the same distance between modules. With their thickness of only a few millimiters, Tasselli on Flex support can be laid on existing surfaces, if properly prepared. The high bending degree and the limited weight of each sheet make it the perfect material to dress up vertical surfaces, underwater applications and single curves like: columns, benches, flaps and barrel vaults. TASSELLI ON UNFLEX SUPPORT The support in porcelain stoneware of each single sheet grants rigidity and therefore makes the material suitable for domestic floors. The calibrated fingered edges of each sheet create a puzzle-like joint that makes laying operations extremely simple. Tasselli on Unflex support can be laid both on vertical and horizontal surfaces. TASSELLI ON FLEX SUPPORT / Lay on perfectly smooth and flat backgrounds. If necessary prepare the surfaces with a levelling compatible with epoxy adhesives. / Lay the epoxy adhesive in a thin coat (0.5 mm) using the specific toothed spatula. / Grout with epoxy grouts compatible with glass mosaic with spacings between 0 and 1 mm. Always follow the specifications provided by the suppliers of glues and grouts. /Cut the material with a diamond-cutting disk. Please refer to the installation manual that you will find inside the box. TASSELLI ON UNFLEX SUPPORT / Lay on perfectly smooth and flat backgrounds. If necessary prepare the surfaces with a levelling compatible with the adhesive used. / Always check compatibility between the type of adhesive and the backgrounds: for wood and metal we suggest the use of an epoxy adhesive, for other surfaces use a cementicious adhesive. / Lay the adhesive using the double spreading technique: on the background in vertical direction with a 3mm toothed spatula and on the UNFLEX support in horizontal direction with a notched spatula with 6mm tilted teeth. / Use an epoxy grout compatible with glass mosaics with spacings between 0 and 1 mm. / Ordinary cleaning: clean the surface with a common glass cleaner or with a mixture of warm water and alcohol (or any other household cleaner. Never use any aggressive, abrasive, corrosive or acid cleaners. Compatible with steam-cleaning. / Use only soft non-abrasive cloths. / Deep cleaning: use a professional cleaner to remove eventual halos. Follow carefully the instructions shown on product labels and the recommendations included in the installation manual provided by DG Mosaic. / Use only soft non-abrasive cloths. / Replacement of damaged tasselli: kits to replace eventual damaged tasselli are available upon request.
