The post-consumer recycled content of BioFelt tiles exceeds 27% in conjunction with TerraStrand fabrics. BioFelt is installed with adhesives and offers cushion underfoot while providing a waterproof flooring with protection for spills and stains. This backing protects the floor below from water intrusion, while providing a flooring that is easier to clean and quicker to dry. BioFelt Backing is recommended for use in Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, and Hospitality environments. Vinyl backing is recommended in areas with Heavy Rolling Traffic, Fitness Applications and Outdoor Applications. Chilewich has been granted US Patent #US 7,326,661 for the tile s innovative components. Rolls Chilewich signature woven textiles are bonded to either BioFelt - an innovative felt and vinyl backing system - or to a vinyl backing system. The postconsumer recycled content of BioFelt exceeds 27% in conjunction with TerraStrand fabrics. Sold in rolls; used as wall to wall. Window Coverings Woven Floor Mats are made from Chilewich s durable signature woven textile bonded to a flexible, commercialgrade backing. The edges are finished with a unique Chilewich selfbound edge, made by folding the face fabric over the edge of the mat and sewing it to provide a clean, finished edge. Custom sizes are available in all weaves except Frame. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. In an effort to continually offer the best quality products possible, all woven floor mats have a latex backing, which provides a protective, layer to the floor mat, more slip resistance and durability, and increased comfort underfoot. BackLess Wall Textiles BackLess is a wall protection system allowing our textiles to be adhered directly to the wall. Chilewich s scrimless wall textiles with a proprietary adhesive are easy to install and provide Type III wall protection performance. Durable and tough, our Class III Wall Textiles offer designers a new way to imagine vertical surfaces and are unique in being able to coordinate and match our floor coverings. 4 2018 Contract Collection 6 7 Chilewich at Camp David Shot on Location at Camp David, a mindfully designed shared workspace in Brooklyn s rapidly growing Industry City. Functionality and aesthetics were of equal importance in the creation of Camp David. Merging a Modernist aesthetic with the building s industrial architecture, the design of Camp David draws upon the iconic institutional work of the 1960s and 1970s, employing raw concrete, blackened steel, walnut, and Calacatta marble in a contemporary fashion.
