23 CEDIA Nuevo León: Industrial projects ASP: Aerospace Strengthening Project (Started in 2009 and has a 2 years duration) Support through training and consulting for 25 MIP and MES in the states of Nuevo Leon and Queretaro, including implementation of fifteen AS9100 certifications and five Nadcap special process certifications An effort of the Ministry of Economics and Tecnológico de Monterrey, with support from the certifying agency PRI Nadcap Lab Human PLM Combination of basic research and development specifically tailored to reach greater depth in the creation of advanced technological solutions adapted to human beings. This project involves collaboration between the Polytechnical University of Valencia, Spain and Tecnológico de Monterrey s Monterrey Campus through PLM. Among the areas covered: artificial vision, biomechanical simulation, advanced interface design, tangible interfaces, software agents, affective computing, brain image, human behavior simulation, ubiquitous computing and knowledge management.
24 VANT: RV 10: CEDIA Nuevo León: Research projects To develop an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), including the techniques, methods and procedures for its design, manufacture and control. The first prototype already exists and it will be used to demonstrate the technology that has been used, such as the composite materials for its manufacture, its aerodynamics and control system behavior. To develop techniques, methods and procedures for assembly, design, manufacture, control and instrumentation of aircraft in a context of: computational modeling of solids analytical and numerical modeling of kinematics and kinetics, and virtual modeling of real environments using reverse engineering. GLOBAL ENGINEERING DESIGN: Collaborative project between Tecnológico and the University of Arizona to develop research in aeronautics. Coordinate and develop research in avionics, propulsion, structures, flight dynamics & control. All the research, technical information, experimental data, software and designs results will be shared by the two universities.
