13 Call Research Infrastructures-7 The aim of e-infrastructures is to foster the deployment of e- infrastructures and enhance Europe s position in this area with the objective to Reinforce the user communities engagement (social sciences, humanities & education, astronomy, environment, earth observation, biomedicine, etc) Reinforce e-infrastructures policies for science and engineering, and policy based management actions and tools (authentification, authorisation, security, ect) Support international collaboration in the area of advanced communication technologies with a view of building bridges with other world regions Funded projects: Swiss Information Network Research for Research May 2005 Dr Daniela Di Mare 13
