24 'OPEN SCIENCE' IS OPEN TO THE WORLD Science is global: scientists need open access to publications and data worldwide Europe needs to strive for open access, not only in Europe, but worldwide European Science Cloud will be optimal only if federated with scientific data repositories across the world Global research infrastructures require global access, financing and governance Since research knowledge is developed globally, research integrity should be agreed and ensured worldwide
