As part of our quality management system, we implement a project quality plan for each project to assure conformance to project specifications and to ensure that customer requirements are met. We also demand the same level of conformance from all suppliers and subcontractors involved in manufacturing and construction phases to ensure the same level of quality for our customers. Project Responsibility and Guarantee VME maintains responsibility for design, fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning and startup of our process equipment. Using an integrated design approach for the project, we minimize interface problems in the field. For our custom designed internals we can maintain the total responsibility concept or reduce our scope to meet your project budget and special requirements. In either case we warrant our products. All process equipment packages and custom designed internals are delivered with full process and mechanical guarantees. Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) is a sophisticated computational-based analysis technology that has the ability to predict the fluid flow behavior and study the dynamics of the flow. CFD provides the power to simulate: Flow of gases and liquids Multiphase physics Fluid-structure interaction VME uses leading edge Fluent CFD software for: Optimization of designs and process efficiency Reductions in cost of products Saving time by avoiding actual field experiments Troubleshooting of existing designs Motion Studies and Separator Designs The use of floating oil production systems is increasing relatively to fixed platforms because of: Lower capital cost Suitable at any water depth Potential of re-use Hydrocarbon deposits discovered in progressively deeper water Sloshing Motion of an Offshore 3-phase Separator during the Maximum Pitch Operating Condition Green represents the oil/gas interface Red represents the water/oil interface Vessel without baffles Vessel with baffles However, some of the processing equipment on floating systems, particularly large primary gravity separators, can be adversely affected by floater motions that are caused by waves, wind and currents. Installation of porous or perforated baffles in the vessels can effectively suppress the gross liquid movement caused by the vessel motion sloshing. By using the multiphase solver in CFD, the fluid behavior in the vessel can be predicted.
