2 Nabors is always looking to improve the performance of our drilling rigs. The addition of Canrig top drives was an important step. The advent of PACE technology was another. Now Nabors introduces P², a package of products designed to take performance to even greater levels. You have always wanted leading edge performance. Now you can have it.

4 Performance The development of programmable AC electric or PACE technology has resulted in the construction of rigs designed to drill more efficiently and with a greater degree of safety than ever before. These rigs were also engineered to accommodate new products and technology designed to further enhance performance. Canrig Drilling Technology Ltd. has been developing several of these technical products and deployed them into the field. They were developed in conjunction with Nabors to ensure each new performance tool is user-friendly for rig personnel, particularly the driller, as well as for the operator and other well-site personnel, such as directional drillers. These products are now fieldproven and ready to be added to Nabors rigs with crews specifically trained in their use. The result is a rig that takes drilling performance to new levels. P² is a package of Canrig products and services designed to further increase performance on Nabors PACE Rigs and provide enhanced performance on conventional SCR rigs. As the name suggests, performance is increased exponentially. When added to Nabors PACE rigs or Nabors conventional SCR rigs equipped with Canrig AC top drives, the results are improved drilling efficiency, increased rate of penetration, longer bit life, extended lateral sections in horizontal wells, reduced emissions and lower fuel costs.

5 Squared PACE and K-BOX Rig Automation Platforms These operator interfaces control the rig, equipment and systems, thus enabling optimization of the drilling process. RigWatch 9 aggregates and processes wellsite data from all sources and delivers this data to both wellsite users and to an unlimited number of remote locations through mywells.com, Canrig s unique Internet portal. 2 ROCKIT Canrig s surface rotary steerable system saves rig time through increased rate of penetration while sliding, faster toolface setting and improved toolface control. Rockit removes the guesswork from accurately setting toolface orientation because the computer controls the amount of rotation. Its bearing offset control also allows the operator to nudge the toolface to the left or right while drilling. Directional Drilling Aides The new Rockit Heads Up Display integrates the critical information needed for directional control on one screen. This includes MWD toolface data, MWD inclination and azimuth, toolface advisory, resultant toolface, pump pressure and delta pressure. Rockit Pilot complements the Rockit Heads Up Display and provides steering logic in the PLC to auto steer the downhole motor toolface. Rockit Pilot also provides aggressiveness and frequency of auto correction controls. 4 DrillSmart DC & AC System DrillSmart TM is an electronic autodriller system for DC and AC rigs. The system is designed to accurately control rate of penetration, weight on bit, differential pressure and combinations of each. DrillSmart TM enhances the rig s drilling efficiency by increasing the overall rate of penetration. This reduces the time spent drilling the well and results in a significant cost savings to the operator. REVit Canrig s REVit TM control system is specifically designed to mitigate stick slip and improve drilling efficiency. The system integrates seamlessly with the standard Canrig AC top drive controls to alert the driller to excessive downhole vibration and provides sophisticated tools to eliminate it. 6 FuelTool FuelTool is a system of sophisticated hardware, purpose-built software and web-based data collection that allows rig site personnel to proactively monitor and efficiently manage Caterpillar engines. FuelTool generates reports based on daily engine information including date, fuel consumption, total fuel, total hours and engine load. FuelTool has been proven to deliver up to a 33-percent decrease in fuel consumption and emissions. New Products Canrig is in the process of developing several new products that further enhance drilling efficiency and economy. These will be added to the P 2 performance package, making Nabors rigs 7an even better value.

6 Support Infrastru Rig Makeovers Nabors has a fleet of excellent SCR rigs that have performed dependably well after well. By adding a Canrig AC top drive these rigs can now accommodate the P² performance package. This brings them very close to new AC rigs in performance and delivers significant improvement in overall drilling versus conventional SCR rigs without these accessories. K-Box Designed to replace the existing doghouse knowledge box, the Canrig K-Box offers integration of the best-in-class drilling instrumentation, IADC tour sheet reporting, anti-collision controls, choke controls and drilling optimization applications. It also includes Canrig s DrillSmart TM auto driller which provides precise control of rate of penetration, weight on bit and delta pressure during drilling. Nabors has a comprehensive infrastructure of facilities in every significant oil and gas area nationwide. This allows us to support our rigs with personnel and equipment and to service every component of the P² performance package rapidly and efficiently. This keeps downtime to a minimum and improves drilling efficiency and economy.

7 Case Studies Major operator, drilling in the Green River Basin of Wyoming, has used a suite of P 2 technology applications on conventional SCR rigs. These rigs played a key role in significantly driving down well times from spud to release. The same major operator entered the Haynesville Shale Play and worked with Nabors and Canrig to continue P 2 performance enhancements on both PACE and conventional SCR rigs. In a short period of time, in the deeper areas of the Haynesville, drilling curves were reduced by almost half the time, from over 60 days initially to recent record wells of 32 days, with additional improvement anticipated. cture Large independent operator used Nabors PACE M-Series Rig and technology from the P 2 Package to drill multiple Eagle Ford Shale wells in the 15 day range compared to standard SCR rigs (without P 2 capability) drilling the same wells in days. Combining PACE rigs with P2 enhancements has generated customer feedback such as the following from an Independent Operator Drilling Manager: Our new PACE rig initiated operations and the start-up has been the best I have been associated with in my career. This rig is a perfect fit for our Haynesville program.
