3 Francesco Longo CV PROGRAMS / APPLICATIONS I developed in Object-C 3 applications for ios published in the AppStore (IEQ-Solver, IMUcalc, idiscounts) in 4 languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish). idiscounts was for a few days in the ranking of most downloaded app in Italy in the Utilities section in 7th place. Recently I developed an app for Android in Java commissioned for the election of my town and published on Google PlayStore. Thanks to the course in Swift I rewrote all my applications in the new Apple programming language. HARDWARE Familiarity in managing and update hardware. Using programmable prototype boards (Arduino, Arduino Yun and Raspberry) to construct clocks, thermometers and other various projects managing hardware components and integrated circuits (temperature sensors, LCD displays, batteries). SKILLS AND COMPETENCES SOCIAL I like team work, co-ordinate work in order to achieve a common goal. Good adaptability and communication. ORGANIZATION I have acquired good skills and organizational skills by working in groups of people in the Laboratory and drills. This project involves the design and development of a system for environmentally friendly commercial vehicles collecting data and information from a control unit and display them on a graph that summarize the vehicle s status. My role in this project was to develop an Android screen that handles data provided by a control unit every second and display them on a real-time graph, which automatically adapts to any screen size, to show the trend. The graph is redrawn at each arrival of a new data in a way that it can adapts the design to any screen size withount knowing an a priori range of input values. To implement this graph I studied the graphical resources available to design custom components in Android devices, the use of the Canvas and to draw each object in proportion to any size screen with universal parameters and not dependent on any fixed size, the activity management, threads, the fragments and the life cycle of an application. To develop this screen I used the Java programming language applied to Android mobile devices using Eclipse and Android Studio. PAGE 4- Francesco Longo CV
