Normand Mermaid shares the same setup as Ocean Installer s other vessels in the fleet and is operated with fully integrated partners Oceaneering and Nautronix for ROV and survey services. This setup ensures good cross departmental communication onboard and ensures high operational efficiency. NORMAND MERMAID is a light Offshore Constuction Vessel with DP3 capabilities. She has served numerous clients since the charter commenced and is a versatile and efficient subsea intervention vessel. Normand Mermaid has been in Ocean Installer s fleet since April 2013 and have been utilized for a large variety of offshore work tasks including dredging, umbilical lay, RFO operations and general subsea intervention work. By use of the mid-mounted moonpool a module handling system (MHS) can be mobilized, or the moonpool can be used for deployment of umblilicals, test hoses and other equipment.
