2 HISTORY Hannes Auer founded GmbH in Oberaudorf, Germany, in The company produces innovative tooling and equipment technologies for manufacturing automotive interiors, such as door panels, instrument panels, and pillars. GmbH expanded already in 2001, with the establishment of Anlagenbau GmbH in Ebbs, Austria. It was originally planned as a production site but is now the headquarters of the group. It includes the areas of project planning, design, manufacture, installation and commissioning. The departments for prototyping, research and development are also located there. In 2012, the ground was broken for a new milestone in the company history: the new central building, with large offices and a manufacturing area of more than 3,600 m², has since 2013 served as the headquarters of the Group. An additional German sales office was established in Laufen, Upper Bavaria, in In 2014 the Group started to internationalize, enabling more effective implementation of international projects. In spring 2014 the Corporation opened operations in Michigan, USA. Half a year later a sales office was founded in Shanghai, China. The service and production subsidiary China Machinery Co Lt was established in spring 2016 in Chengdu, China, as was the subsidiary International Mexico in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. At the company headquarters, high customer demand has led to above-average growth of the Group. To meet market requirements, in 2014 a second construction phase was underway. The extension, with an area of more than 2,800 m², was ready for use in spring The international orientation, capacity expansion and cooperation with reputable technology partners makes it possible for the Group to implement sophisticated and global projects.
