Your partnership with Ballet 5:8 will make the beauty, joy and inspiration of professional dance accessible to communities in the Chicago area and across the nation. The Benefit Gala is where we typically raise over half of the $58,000 in support needed for our fiscal year. Sponsors defray the $2,500 cost of the event and receive visibility among hundreds of invitees and attendees from across the South Suburbs and the entire Chicago metro area. SUPPORTING SPONSOR Donation of $150 or more Business name listed on Gala invitations, and on Gala print programs. One complimentary ticket to any PATRON SPONSOR Donation of $300 or more Business name listed at Ballet58.org and on Gala invitations and print programs. Two complimentary tickets to any ARTIST SPONSOR Donation of $600 or more Color business logo included at Ballet58.org and printed on Gala invitations and print programs. Four complimentary tickets to any BENEFIT SPONSOR Donation of $1,200 or more Color business logo featured at Ballet58.org, on Gala invitations and on Gala print programs. Six complimentary tickets to any Ballet 5:8 is a 501-(c)-3 organization, and sponsorship donations are partially or fully tax-deductible. 2 BALLET 5:8 S MISSION is to employ artistic ingenuity, innovation and excellence as we celebrate the exchange of ideas in the creative realm. OUR ONGOING COMMITMENT is to the creation and performance of new, abstract and narrative works from the unique basis of our Christian faith, and to the development and creative exploration of the dancing artists, choreographers and composers of our day. OUR GOAL is to serve as a catalyst for genuine discussion of life and faith with audiences and artists alike, in the context of breathtaking dance performance. WHAT IS BALLET 5:8?

3 WHAT DOES BALLET 5:8 DO? DURING ITS 30-WEEK PERFORMING SEASON EACH YEAR, BALLET 5:8... Contracts 10+ adult professional dancers Creates an average of 6 brand-new classical and contemporary ballets Spends at least 10 hours preparing each minute of dance that goes onstage Invests in our communities through up to 40 ticketed and free performances Engages with 100's of audience members in real time through postperformance panel discussions Brings affordable, high-quality instruction to over 250 students at our dance education center in the South Suburbs Inspires 3,500 audience members in greater Chicago and across the nation through honest, relevant, breathtaking dance

4 WHY THE ARTS? WHY DANCE? The arts create positive change in communities and school environments across the United States and the world. Students improve their academic performance when the arts play an active role in their life in-school and out of school... Moreover, whether you are observing or participating, engaging in dance improves emotional intelligence.
