1 DIVISION OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING ICAR-INDIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE, NEW DELHI WALK IN INTERVIEW Walk-in-interview will be held for the following contractual positions in the conference room of the Division of the Agricultural Engineering, IARI, New Delhi on 19 h Feb at 10:00 am for Sr. Nos 1 &2 and at 2:00 pm for Sr. No. 3 (Table below). These positions are in support of the International Research Project Off-grid, clean energy cooling for affordable storage of perishables for BOP farmers funded by The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NAS), Washington, DC under PEER (Partnership for Enhanced Engagement in Research) cycle 7 competitive grant. Eligible candidates should bring their application giving full details of academic records and experience in the form of originals and one attested photocopy of all relevant documents. He/she will also be a conduit for interaction with the farmer community of the selected villages.

Kindly see ICAR memorandum for details of minimum qualification: F.No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated Desirable qualifications: Working experience in installation and operation of solar panels, inverters and refrigeration system; design inverters and refrigeration systems to suit specific purposes and expertise in computer skills. 02 years Essential qualifications: Must know how to read and write; Experience (minimum two years) with the following: (i) construction of reinforced concrete structures (ii) metal and plastic plumbing (iii) metal working (welding, cutting, shaping, fabrication) (iv) electrical wiring installation (v) management of work teams (vi) maintenance of records for labor and material expenses (vii) working in a research Assessing the performance of the electrical control panels, solar panels, inverters and the refrigeration systems; assistance in material procurement and record keeping; Evaluating and processing of data evaluation and data quality assurance; frequent travel to villages in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan; assistance in the initial survey of villages; monitoring and assembling of solar refrigerated evaporatively cooled (SREC) chambers. Assistance in construction and management of construction activities of SREC chambers in the three selected villages in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan regions; material procurement, maintenance of records and Rs.25,000/- +30% HRA per month Fixed as per the approved research project Rs /- per month
