4 Aim of the research ICT-AGE is a project to formulate policy recommendations and guidelines to guide Member States on how to implement technology-based services for independent living of elderly people at home. These policy recommendations and guidelines are based on the analysis of the examples on good practices developed in and outside Europe

6 Specific objectives of the research IDENTIFY technology-based services in and outside Europe, successfully implemented, that covers different care needs: Literature review Deliverable 1: Mapping Jan 2014 Validation by Stakeholders: Workshop (Today) ANALYSE the STRATEGIES to design and implement each technology-based services: Case study research (Literature review and interviews) Deliverable 2: Case studies analysis Apr 2014 interim, March 2014 ELABORATE MANUALS for policy makers on implementation strategies at EU and national level: Discussion witth stakeholders Peer-review. Advisory Board: 5 experts (sept/oct 14) Deliverable 3: Manuals - Dec 2014 interim, Sept/Oct 2014 First approach IDENTIFY the ROLE of the EU to support MS to implement these technological services.

7 Aim of the workshop To discuss and to obtain feedback from stakeholders to validate the findings of the first two deliverables of ICT-AGE: D1: Mapping of effective technology-based services for independent living for elderly people at home D2: Case studies of the technology-based services for independent living for elderly people. To obtain orientation to produce guidelines for policy-makers to implement strategies for technology-based services for independent living at home.
