Since 1997, operators have produced nearly 1.5 billion barrels of oil from the Jeanne d Arc Basin. Although this is more production than originally predicted, advances in science, technology and empirical knowledge in the area show that there are still small and possibly large fields to produce in the basin. Further, as some of these fields have been developed as subsea completions in order to be economically viable, it is still possible to increase production from these wells with current workover technology. This session will explore the possibility of increasing the production life of new and aging fields in the Jeanne d Arc Basin by maximizing recovery techniques.
