Maintenance-free use, long service life, and, above all, high energy efficiency make LEDs the lighting system of the future. LEDs present specific requirements both on the energy supply as well as on control of dimming, for example. Operation requires special power supplies with constant current or constant voltage outputs. The brightness regulation is effected by a controller and dimming modules based on PWM. Recording and processing of smallest measuring values requires mainly interference-free voltages and currents to avoid influencing and falsifying the measuring and control processes. Added to this are often extreme environmental conditions since many devices also need to work outdoors or under rough production conditions. We support our customers in selection of the appropriate circuit concept and develop a device customised to the respective requirement in close operation. We make use of either a series of tried and tested circuit details or use modified standard basic mains adapters. We have well-founded know-how and a comprehensive range of linearly controlled mains adapters. They are often particularly suitable for power supply to demanding measuring and control devices because of their low residual ripple.
