3 Why the CSR/ES Roadmap Recognises the importance of generating and communicating accurate and clear information on the conditions of (safe) use of chemicals through the supply chain (up and down) Acknowledges the efforts done so far, but also the need for continuous improvement as implementation experience is accumulated Provides common long term orientation to all stakeholders on what needs to be done 19/05/2014 3

6 Actions on improving CSRs Workshop to MSCAs and industry in October 2013 What information on use and exposure should be available in a structured format in IUCLID Crucial pieces of CSR information identified, needed for Selection and prioritisation of substances for further scrutiny Identification of substances for further regulatory action Benefits all better targeted actions from authorities Work is carried forward in IUCLID 6 development Content and format of structured fields 19/05/2014 6
